So, things have been settled with Cosplay Deviants, thankfully, and I will still hopefully be doing more male cosplays. A theory that I have is that the set wasn't exactly "sexy" enough, so that makes sense, since Nagisa Shiota, the character I recently submitted, isn't exactly a character that you can be sexy with, since his character is relatively awkward about that. Even in the show, when he kisses Kaede Kayano, he does it mostly to save her life rather than taking pleasure in it. Another thing is, I'll usually have a story in my sets and, for Nagisa...I actually didn't. I have two upcoming ideas for male sets though. My male Yuno (pictured) will be making a peanut butter and strawberry jam sandwich in the kitchen, when his beloved Yukiteru comes in. Yuno decides to try and seduce his partner with the contents that he has out. So I get to play a little with the jam and, since it's strawberry, it'll give the appearance of blood. Sexy and in-charac...

So, I got an email from CD about my Nagisa Shiota set saying that "Overall, the cosplay was great, the underwear choice was confusing. Mostly, this set just didn't hit the mark. We would love to see it reshot though." I feel like the whole underwear bit is due to the fact that I have a bulge in the pants while still having the chest and genitalia of a female. So, right now, I'm feeling quite distressed because I want to do male characters as authentic as possible, but I currently don't have the resources to do that at this moment. Do I have to wait to submit a set until I've transitioned? Am I really being restricted because I'm pre-operation? I really don't know what to think of this. I can't tell if it's transphobia or being seriously misinterpreted.

Ahhhhh! It's already been over a week and I haven't heard anything back about my Nagisa set! ;A; I'm so nervous and my photographer and I are both very anxious to see if it gets accepted or not. I NEED TO KNOW! WE WORKED SO HARD!

Before I submit the set, here is a preview of it! Enjoy the bulge! ;)

AHHHH! I'm finally getting my pictures from ROXAS Studios tonight! I'm so excited! Wish me luck that they get accepted! I've been waiting almost a month for this!

Ahhhh! I got to work with the wonderful ROXAS Studios to complete two sets for Cosplay Deviants! Even just the raw photos look absolutely incredible! If these don't get accepted, I will be genuinely shocked. KEEP A LOOK OUT FOR THEM!

For those of you who don't know, I'm actually a cosplay guest at AMA-Con! A multi-genre convention in Amarillo, Texas! I'm actually a cosplay guest there:

So if you're in the Amarillo area and are interested in meeting me in person. This is the perfect time! ^^ I'll be shooting two sets before the convention so look forward to those! Have a wonderful day!

I've been getting antsy about my place in Cosplay Deviants and my sets not getting approved. So, I've nailed the help of people more professional with the art of editing and I'll hopefully FINALLY get a set approved on here! Wish me luck!

So, I recently did a geeky burlesque show with my troupe, Texan Heat Nerdlesque. We had a few issues but things went off well and we ended up making around $200! Not mad considering we've only been established around a year and a half! Anyway, back to focusing on CD. Let's see if I can get a set accepted!

I had a thought, I don't see very many sets on here that are particularly fun-filled, or goofy, or silly or anything like that. I see a few, and they're amazing, so I had a thought. Would you guys be interested in that sort of thing? Is there a demand for it? Because if so, I'll try my damnest to get a set accepted with a lot of in-character silliness. Because, I honestly want to do a set where I dab. ;A; I know it's a dead meme by now, but I can dream, can't I?
