I just received my starter and 4 boosters today, and I must say, it was an amusing and pleasant surprise to find that there are variant pictures in the set. I have different pictures for Chibi and Panic, and kandie's picture is cropped two different ways. And from viewing the picture of the uncut sheet, I see Ramu has a second picture as well. Not counting any possible R-rated con exclusives, are there any more variations I should be keeping a lookout for?

I ordered some boosters with the calender and it came threw USPS. Also my calender was bent :TT_TT: I think from being put into my mailbox.

I had a starter and some boosters, and they came USPS as well. Mailman bent the package stuffing it into the mailbox. Fortunately, the cards and playmat are fine.

The cards included in the starter sets do contain variants. Good eye

Looks like I got a signed fauna and a variant kitty!
Looks like USPS tried to go a number on mine too, but everything came out ok, just a little pinching on part of the calender cover that isn't too obvious

My calendar was cylindrical as well, but no complaints here...I can flatten it out. At least none of the cards were bent up. :)

hmm well lets see what over seas shiping does to them (turns up in a pile of ash) :TT_TT: Hey admin you should see about adding a optinal postage option in the store im sure alot of us particuly those over seas would prefer certain more expensive postal severices to ensure a quicker and safer delivery of products

Question...is it being shipped via Fed Ex? I just got a call from them saying I have a package coming tomorrow and this and a secret santa gift are the only things I am expecting in the mail...

So I heard back from our shipping contact today. Needless to say we will not be using them again.

They shipped everything using USPS Flat rate envelopes to help us save costs but forgot to place the do not bend labels on them.

You should be able to get it just fine. I haven't heard anything about a shipment being ruined, but if you have a catastrophe please feel free to pm me

Yea, seems the FedEx thing was something I guess I won from Gamestop back when Gears of War 3 was released...think my mail box is big enough that it shouldn't have to be bent to fit in there...hopefully it comes in today :)

Well saving costs is understandable. As far as my calender goes I was able to work the bend out and it doesn't seem very noticeable unless you are really looking for it. I'm still satisfied with it and my cards  just need 4 more and I have them all.

A new-ish topic came up in chat last night. We were wondering if there was any practical way to set up a forwarding system so that we can mail cards to willing models to be signed without compromising their locations and identity.

Unless I'm mistaken, pre-paid shipping can be arranged for. Admin could probably ship a small stack of cards to the models for a small amount and the models simply swap the labels for return shipping. I fully admit that I could be mistaken on this though.

Yes this IS doable. If you shipped the item to me, with a pre-paid return label on it, then the model could sign the item (if they wanted to). Put the label on the item and then return it. However we cannot make any promises once it leaves our hands, and a model may not want to sign certain items.

So, in the case of the card game, the most practical option would be to mail you a SASE and the cards? The cards could be signed, put into the SASE and mailed back.

Correct, You send the cards with a pre-paid envelope. We will forward that to the model, who can then if they choose to sign and place the cards in the pre-paid envelope and drop it in a mailbox. I would suggest you ask the model though, out of kindness.

Of course, I did specify 'willing' model at the start.
