I am an actor, a model, a Pirate Commodore, a writer, and a full time nerd. Aside from being a professional Super Villain / Anti-Hero I also work in a movie store since i am a massive movie buff. feel free to talk with me about most anything cinema. just not most modern comedies.

ok so this a long list usually so I am going to generalize it and if you have any questions just let me know. I love anime, comics(marvel heroes/dc villains), zombies, contact juggling, parcour, gaming, and art. if you can find a way to combine any of these you are pretty much instantly good in my book. on the side me and friend of mine are making a resident evil table top gaming system for D20 since there is now table top zombie games that are worth playing yet.

About me:

Ok so I'm Yashimaru but you can call me Yashi. Got that name from my favorite character in the series called Basilisk and my wife heard the "O" as an "A" and i decided to roll with it.

I have been acting since I was 5 only stopping at 13 due to my agency being bought out and going under. since then I have turned my eye towards cosplay as an art form since I feel that if you don't act the part of your character then you aren't in cosplay but rather playing dress up. you can break character here and there but the purpose of cosplay as i see it is to bring your favorite characters to life.

That being said since I am not a very buff man I choose to do the Pretty boy characters that are usually cosplayed by women since most of the male fans rarely have the build for it. My favorite characters to cosplay are Ikuto from Shugo chara, Jareth from Labyrinth, Mustang from FMA, Takashi from HOTD, and Android 17 from DBZ.

The list of characters I want to do goes on but I generally move one cosplay at a time.

I am an all around nerd and love to talk about science faction almost as much as I love science fiction. I also enjoy social studies based series such as Gantz and most anything with zombies. In fact I consider myself the one stop shop for most anything you could ever need to know about different types of zombies including what are the best hideouts and weapons.

In any case I am always willing to take suggestions for sets you think I should do. anyways don't be a zombie. toss me message on here or on FB and I will respond when I can

My Geeky Pleasure:

Trivia. I love out nerding people on character back stories and learning more about the characters i love but don't know much about. I tend to argue classic lore over newer generations though. I like classic my little ponies and know next to nothing about the new one and as far as green lantern goes i'm golden age all the way. sinestro is supposed to start out evil. Also I am a die hard gamer and zombies are my favorite trivia type.

Favorite Cosplay:

I do anime comics and movies so here are my top 3.

Jareth from the labyrinth. I have been in love with the whole story behind him since watching the movie as a child. and the manga only made it better.

Ikuto. This has so many possibilities to it so I never get bored and since I am a massive flirt it is perfect. I can be myself at a convention still be in character which is great.

Joker from the original DC comics. Tail coat, gags, and creepy smile. I can do the mark Hamill voice, I have the comic book smile, and I just love one liners.
